The walls of self control – It’s time to rebuild.
Each time we choose not to practice self control, our desire to avoid sin and addictive behaviors can weaken. We then become comfortable with things that will always cause us to stumble on our journey of following Christ.
Be a patient prayer
Waiting is hard. Praying without ceasing and giving thanks at the same time is not natural for us humans. But for those of us that are in Christ, this is God's will for us.

The Word in the wilderness
Jesus could have easily had his needs met through the calling of angels, or some other supernatural way and come out on top, but that's not his way. He could see through the devils schemes and instead he chose to resist all 3 temptations with the proper use of scripture.
